As is the tradition at our house, we put up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving.
Chad dug out the box from storage.
Don't you love the map of how to assemble the tree?
We let the kids do the assembly of the main "trunk" of the tree and the adding of supportive feet.
Funny thing happened.
After figuring out how to put the feet on, they were ready to stand it up.
When they did, all the feet fell off and they had to start again.
They were a little mad when we laughed.
Isaac and Chad were master assemblers.
Ezren tried, but he was much better suited to sorting the branches.
Olivia was the director, making sure everyone knew their job.
And she was also the top of the tree readier.
The tree is together and ready to be decorated!

That sure looks like a lot of fun work! We just cut ours from a field and throw it up in the house. It comes already assembled...lol. And...I do like you map on the box. Genius to put right on the storage. I would have never thought of that. Another great idea from the Steen family ;)
